Elkhart Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Get many of your favorite publications in one place with PressReader, available in the EPL Digital Library.
The digital reader program, available on desktop, as well as mobile devices via apps, offers thousands of English language and international newspapers and magazines.

Publications include Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, New York Post and Los Angeles Times and are all available without a subscription or a fee, just a library card.
“We’ve been looking for a way to get Chicago newspapers back in the hands of our patrons. Local delivery stopped a couple years ago,” said Brett Hamilton, reference librarian. “Sports fans want their fix on the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs and White Sox, or to keep up with Chicago politics.”
PressReader offers digital PDFs, with full color of each issue or an option for text view, according to Hamilton. The PressReader app allows for downloading of issues for offline access. Issues are available for 90 days.
It is free to access PressReader at all EPL locations and can be logged into anywhere using your library card.
